As if this day wasn’t already unusual enough. It was a couple of days after hurricane Sandy and I’d walked over the Brooklyn bridge to find Manhattan semi deserted and shut down. Met this Belgian artist who threw his bike on the street in front of me, handed me his point and shoot and asked me to take a picture of him with his conductors baton. I used my own camera and took a few more. We wandered around Soho and he threw himself down subway stairs, on top of newspaper dispensers and against shut up hot dog stands.. It was funny and fun. His name is Jerome Porsperger and he has a project called le concert invisible.
